The Seculyze Monthly Report is generated as a PowerPoint deck, built from your Microsoft Sentinel and Defender data. It ships in Seculyze's brand colors, but you can rebrand it to your own.
The report generator fills content into specific, named elements in the template. Those names are how the generator finds where to place data — so they set the boundaries for what you can change. Everything else is yours.
1. Download the template
Download the report template from the report generator. Edit it in PowerPoint and upload your branded version back.
2. Rebrand the reporting elements (limited changes)
Reporting elements are named with the pattern #_NAME — for example 1_customer_logo. To see them, go to Home > Editing > Select > Selection Pane in PowerPoint, which lists every element on the slide by name.
On these elements you can change:
Font name
Font size
Font color
You cannot:
Rename them
Move or resize them
Delete them from the template
Pick a font that renders at roughly the same size on screen as the current one. Fonts with very different x-heights or widths will break the layout even at the same point size, and you'll lose the tight look of the report.
3. Embed your font
If you use a font that is not standard on every machine, embed it in the template. Without it, PowerPoint substitutes something else on machines that don't have the font, and the layout shifts with it.
In PowerPoint go to:
File > Options > Save > Embed fonts in the file.Choose Embed all characters.
4. Rebrand everything else
Every element that is not named #_NAME is yours to change: fonts, colors, backgrounds, icons, shapes, decorative graphics, section dividers. Make it match your brand.
5. Change the MITRE matrix and the world map color
These two are not PowerPoint graphics. The report generator draws them when the report is made and places them into the template. You can move and resize the boxes they sit in, but keep the proportions - the image is fitted inside the box, so a box with different proportions leaves empty space around it.
Their colors do not come from the template. They follow the brand color set in the report generator, and that is the only way to change them. If you rebrand the template without setting it, these two will be in Seculyze's colors.
6. Add the logo
The customer logo on the front page is not part of the template. It comes from the report generator, which places it every time a report is made. The logo sitting in that element now is a placeholder, so replacing it in PowerPoint has no effect. If no logo has been uploaded, the element is left out and the space stays empty.
If you are using the multi-workspace portal (aka. MSSP) managing multiple workspaces, you upload a clients logo from the Client registry.
If you only manage your own workspace, upload the logo from the Monthly reporting branding section.
7. Don't add or remove slides
The slide set is fixed. Do not add or delete slides in the template. If there is content you don't want in the report, remove it in the report generator, not in the template. The generator controls which elements are included; the template only controls how they look.
Two things to be aware of
Dark themes need extra care: The report is designed for a light brand setup. If you switch to a dark theme, some elements may end up with too little contrast. Add background shapes or panels behind the affected areas and check the full report before you use it.
Review before you send: The report is generated by an LLM from many different inputs. LLMs are not deterministic and can occasionally get something wrong. The output is good enough to send to management or a customer — but read it through and correct any errors first.
First time reading a report?
Go to the reading guide at the very end of the report and read that first. It explains how the sections are built and how to interpret them, and the rest of the report makes much more sense once you have.
