Automatic Reporting - Feature Overview

Simplify Incident Reporting with NIS2-ready templates, automatically populated with your data. Ensure compliance and save time with this add-on.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Automatic Reporting feature helps you create structured, professional incident reports with minimal effort. 1) You point to the data you want to use. 2) You select the report template you want, and 3) We populate it with your data. Whether you need a clear presentation of facts or a deep analysis of events, Automatic Reporting adapts to your needs and unique data.

Two Modes - You Choose the Approach

We offer two distinct modes. Both are designed to deliver accurate, high-quality reports. The difference lies in how much analysis you want the system to perform.

Conservative Mode

Conservative Mode structures your data in a clear and factual report. It organizes the details you provide without additional interpretation. This mode is ideal when you prefer to manage conclusions and context yourself.

Analyst Mode

Analyst Mode analyzes the data you provide and highlights correlations, patterns, and possible conclusions. It is helpful when you want the system to support your investigation with context and insight. You still control the outcome, but the AI helps connect the dots.

Seculyze Report Templates

Our report templates are developed by Seculyze. They follow NIS2 requirements and are based on best practices from the cybersecurity field. The templates are structured to ensure consistency and compliance.

NIS2 Incident Report Template

This template covers the reporting requirements defined by the EU’s NIS2 directive. It guides you through the key elements expected in a notification or post-incident report. The structure is informed by the directive itself, drafts of Danish legislation, and regulations from countries already enforcing NIS2.

Internal Incident Report Template

This template is designed for internal use. It is ideal for documenting incidents during investigations or post-incident reviews. Many organizations use it for internal communication and training purposes. It helps ensure knowledge sharing and improves readiness for future incidents.

All templates are continuously reviewed and updated. We incorporate customer feedback, regulatory changes, and evolving standards to keep them relevant.

What About My Data?

We use Azure OpenAI, operated by Microsoft. Your data stays within Microsoft’s Azure environment. It does not interact with OpenAI’s public services like ChatGPT.

According to Microsoft’s policy:

  • Your inputs, outputs, and training data are not shared with OpenAI.

  • Your data is not used to train OpenAI or Microsoft models.

  • Your fine-tuned models are private and accessible only to you.

For more details, refer to Microsoft’s documentation on Azure OpenAI data privacy.

In addition, Seculyze provides additional masking of your Sentinel data, and we allow your to manually input any data you wish masked before sending it to Azure OpenAI.

  • Data from Microsoft Sentinel is automatically masked by Seculyze before processing.

  • You have the option to add additional masking for specific fields or information before sending it to the AI.

Built for Compliance

Our templates and reporting workflows are designed to help you comply with NIS2. While the final Danish legislation is still pending at the time of this documentation, we have aligned our solution with the EU NIS2 directive and national implementations from other countries. The templates we've built is built on thorough research, expertise knowledge and common industry standards. Further, we will be updating them should there be any changes. We also follow ISO standards where applicable.

This means your reports are structured, complete, and ready for audit.

Why Automatic Reporting?

Incident reporting is time-consuming. Research we conducted with ITU shows analysts spend up to 50% of their time documenting incidents. With NIS2 requiring fast and thorough reporting, the workload is only increasing.

Automatic Reporting reduces the manual effort. It helps you:

  • Generate reports faster

  • Maintain consistency

  • Meet NIS2 deadlines

  • Focus your time on analysis and response

Easy Export

Once the report is generated, you can:

  • Review and edit it directly in the interface

  • Export the final report as a DOCX file

  • Use it for regulatory submission, internal review, or training purposes

Summary

Automatic Reporting generates structured, compliant incident reports.

  • Conservative Mode structures the facts you provide

  • Analyst Mode helps interpret and connect information
    Our templates maximize NIS2 compliance.
Your data is secure in Microsoft Azure, with strict privacy guarantees.
