Seculyze 3.7.0 Release Notes

3.7 bring improved load times, better default values for Alert Rules and more than 20 quality-of-life UI improvements across Seculyze.

🚀 Release Highlights

🔌 New Alert Rule Calibration Feature - We now detect and warn when certain Alert Rules are missing required Log Sources to function.

Clear Guidance - Enhanced naming, color-coding, links to new knowledge articles and visual clarity across the app.
📐 Layout & Label Harmony - From button placement to chip resizing, we keep reworking old components to align with our modern and improved look.

📈 Performance optimization - Greatly improved load times on Alert Rules and Log Sources.


Added Functionality

  • Added a tooltip explaining Sentinel Calibration Score on the Dashboard, linking to documentation

  • Added a fallback “no description” message in Log Source modals when no description is available

  • Displayed a notice in the change modal: “Log Sources must be changed manually through Sentinel”

  • Displayed a “~” symbol when log source cost is 0, to avoid confusion with “free”

  • Added logic to detect and warn if any enabled Alert Rules that are instantiated from templates lack the required log sources to function.


📈 Improved Features

  • Improved default value scoring and value explanation of Alert Rules

  • Removed redundant “type” row from Active Transformation Filters popup

  • Removed placeholder text from Active Filters in table controls

  • Replaced “no comments” and “no attention” labels with unified “no observations” label

  • Renamed “Conditions” to “KQL” in filter popups

  • Renamed sidebar section from “Tuning Overview” to “Noise Reduction”

  • Revised tooltip text in Noise Reduction modal for improved clarity

  • Updated the layout of Incidents Command Cards to match the compact style

  • Updated the overall score text to align as a single line or be centered, depending on content

  • Made Active Transformation Filters load in expanded state by default, with manual collapse option

  • Adjusted header in Active Transformation Filters

  • Adjusted Key Threat rows to maintain consistent height using muted grey placeholders for empty slots

  • Adjusted chip sizing in Alert Rules and Log Source modals to use “fill” and “hug” props properly

  • Adjusted Calibrate quick-action command cards to follow the compact vertical layout

  • Moved “Content Preview” button into the “left-side-btns” group in Autoreporting

  • Made right-hand section of Autoreporting sticky, with Content Preview and screenshot hover

  • Corrected modal label where log source data usage was hardcoded to GB, now shows MB correctly

  • Refined spacing and interaction of Filter Chips (tighter spacing, dropdown opens on click)

  • Prevented DCR rows from expanding when action buttons are clicked


🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • Fixed alignment issues in overall score boxes

  • Fixed incorrect stretching behavior of chips in modal

  • Fixed and issue that caused value to not display correctly in Log Source table

  • Adjusted layout consistency across dashboard metrics and modals


🐞 Known Issues

  • Tooltip styling in some legacy modals may still be inconsistent

  • Table resizing behavior for smaller screens is pending full standardization in a future update
