Added Log Source support, improved Threat Detection, UI fixes, and Read-Only users—Seculyze 3.4.0 delivers better security than ever before.

Overview

With Seculyze 3.4.0, your security operations become even more efficient. A new ML model improves True Positive detection, while expanded Log Source support ensures broader data coverage. Read-Only users bring better access control, and updates to UI, filtering, and statistical projections improve usability across the platform.

Release Highlights

Read-Only UsersIntroduced a new user role with restricted editing permissions.
🎨 UI Adjustments and Pain Points Fixes Improved filtering, column sizing, search behavior, and more, based on user feedback and internal testing.
📡 Added Support for More Log SourcesNow supporting additinonal Log Sources and updated infrastructure to easily add new Log Sources down the line.

🤖 Improved ML DetectionDetection rate is improved across all environments.

🏗️ Added Functionality:

  • Embedded knowledge articles throughout the app with relevant links for improved guidance.

  • Introduced the ability to create "read-only" users with restricted access to editing actions.

  • Statistics on the dashboard are now separate components, enhancing clarity and usability.

  • Added Type and Name for Configurations in the Calibrate tab for better distinction.

  • Bulk closing incidents now includes a checkbox selection tool for improved control.

  • Expanded log source support, now including:

📊 Improved Features:

  • Tuning terminology update: "True Positive" is now renamed to "True Positive Detected" to eliminate confusion.

  • Renamed Log Source Spending to "Microsoft Log Costs"

  • Adjusted the math behind calculations of projected Microsoft Log Costs to be more conservative in the estimation.

  • Improved time-selection component with more predefined options and clearer wording.

  • Refined table headers with a more subtle color scheme for better readability.

  • Default placeholder text added across the app for improved usability.

  • Unnecessary filter options removed from columns where they had no practical use.

  • Adjusted default column widths in tables to better fit data on load (manual resizing may still be needed on smaller screens).

🛠️ Bug Fixes:

  • "Closed with Seculyze" now correctly includes quick-closed incidents.

  • Fixed an issue causing vertical scrolling in certain modal windows.

  • Fixed several issues regarding searching in the tables.

  • Resolved a bug where Threat Filters displayed incorrect data after dismissal.

  • Fixed UI issues with log source selections, including missing inactive log sources.

  • Fixed math errors affecting closing rates and adjusted loaders for estimated savings.
