Setting app registration permissions for Data Collection Rules

A quick guide on how to enable Seculyze to manage your Azure Sentinel Data Collection Rules.

To permit this feature to work, Seculyze needs to be granted the "Monitoring Contributor" roles, through your Access Control menu (IAM).


You do so by:

  1. Use the "Add role assignment"-function

  2. Add the service principal that is being used by Seculyze, to the resource group where you Sentinel Workspace is placed

  3. Review and Assign.

  4. Wait ~60 minutes, then reload Seculyze
